FAQS

How do I book an appointment?

You’ll book directly through my website using our easy booking software. When you start, you’ll answer a few quick questions about you and your pet — this helps me understand their spa needs and create the best experience for them.

You’ll then select a base service (Bath or Groom), followed by your pet’s coat type and coat length to build a personalized quote. You’ll also have the option to add specialty packages or spa add-ons to make your dog’s visit extra pampered.

Once your appointment is set, you’ll get a confirmation and a follow-up message from me to finalize your pet’s spa day.

How often should my dog be groomed or bathed?

Every dog’s coat has its own rhythm. On average, most pups do best with a full bath and groom every 4–6 weeks to keep their skin and coat healthy.

Curly, long-haired, or double-coated dogs usually need more frequent care to stay free of tangles and buildup, while short-coated or low-shedding breeds can stretch a little longer between visits.

Bathing too often can dry out the coat, so it’s best to keep a consistent schedule that suits your dog’s coat type and lifestyle. Regular brushing and quick wipe-downs at home go a long way in keeping your pup fresh between spa days.

Think of grooming as self-care that keeps your dog feeling good from the inside out — not just a bath, but part of their wellness routine.

What tools should I have at home for daily upkeep?

Regular coat care at home helps your pup stay comfortable and radiant between spa visits. You don’t need much — just a few gentle tools that make brushing simple and soothing.

  • Slicker brush: great for loosening tangles and fluffing the coat.
  • Comb: helps detect mats and tangles hiding close to the skin, especially around the ears, legs, and underarms.
  • Detangling spray or leave-in conditioner: keeps coats soft, smooth, and easy to brush.
  • Pet-safe wipes: handy for paws, faces, and quick clean-ups after walks.

If you’re ever unsure which brushes or products are right for your dog’s coat type, I’m happy to recommend what I use in the salon to make home care easy and stress-free.

How does pricing work?

Every dog’s coat and personality are different, so pricing adjusts to reflect the time and care needed for their visit. Each service begins with a base price by size, then gently adjusts for your pet’s coat type and coat length to keep things fair and personalized.

You’ll see a starting estimate when booking, and I’ll confirm your pet’s final quote after their in-person evaluation.
